The C. Faye Tillery Fund

The C. Faye Tillery Fund is named after C. Faye Tillery, a former employee of Suffolk Parks and Recreation in Suffolk, Virginia. She spent her time inspiring youth to be the best version of themselves. After her passing in 1998, Suffolk Parks & Recreation established the C. Faye Tillery Day to honor her legacy. In addition to the annual day of service and recognition, Ms. Tillery's family continued her legacy by creating the C. Faye Tillery Fund. This fund led to the creation of the C. Faye Tillery Back to School Giveaway, C. Faye Tillery Scholarship Luncheon, and the C. Faye Tillery Christmas Adoption. Since 2013 the C. Faye Tillery Youth Volunteer Scholarship has awarded over 35 scholarships to deserving youth.
